IPEAProceeding from the firm belief in the depth of the historical relations between the African people, which are based on complete mutual recognition and equality, and the unity of causes and interests, whether in the past or the common future that the peoples of the continent aspire to.

Sensing from the popular forces in all African countries the need to advance and develop all efforts aimed at the renaissance of our great continent, and to achieve the best levels of cooperation and integration among its countries to provide decent standards of living for the people.

The Egyptian-African People’s Initiative was perceived as an inclusive framework and a popular action mechanism based on equal common interests, with the aim of pushing forward relations between our peoples and overcoming setbacks and obstacles to achieve better popular levels of cooperation and integration.

The Egyptian-African People’s Initiative seeks to achieve its goals by extending bridges of communication and interaction at the popular levels in all African countries interested in this initiative, with the aim of reaching popular and common understandings on the best ways of cooperation between the peoples of the continent and for reaching achievements on the basis of equality, friendliness and reconciliation.

As the Egyptian-African People’s Initiative announces its establishment and the start of its activity, it affirms that its representatives from Egypt and the rest of the African countries value all the efforts of the official Egyptian and African institutions, aimed at restoring and deepening relations and cooperation between the countries of the continent, striving together to make our initiative a support and aid for these efforts, and in this regard we stress that the initiative is nonpartisan and not a politicized entity, and does not seek in any way to be a substitute for the official frameworks of the countries that have joined the initiative.

In light of this alone, the initiative seeks to be a framework for coordination, consultation, dialogue, discussion, convergence of viewpoints, arrangement of priorities and setting the outputs of its activities in all countries, with the expertise of a large team in all fields to be made available to the official frameworks in the concerned countries, in order to activate the non official voluntary role, in support of the official frameworks in handling the African-popular files in particular, without haste, effectively, and more efficiently, guided by sincere and genuine efforts to provide an appropriate, stimulating and supportive popular environment for all areas of cooperation and integration between the countries of the continent, in order to achieve their vital and strategic interests and the interests of their peoples.
