“Teita” wasn’t so much a film as it was an experiment. How far can I get away from reality while still making some level of sense. I funneled some of my familial anxiety into the story of a boy who could no longer stand his sick grandmother. It starred my cousin Ziad, and my mom Nadia. The entire production took 2 days to put together as it wasn’t very labor intensive. It did allow me to make my own music for the first time, which was quite fun.
